Why Americans (South and North) Have Been Blessed by God

America was first occupied by people with pagan beliefs – in the gods of the sun, moon, etc. My husband and I both have native Americans in our lineage, which we love. But, like the ancient Canaanites, some of Native American ancestors believed they could sacrifice their children in bloody rituals to their gods for better crops. Aztecs routinely cut the hearts from their victims and rolled bloody, heartless bodies from the tops of their pyramids to their gods below. They believed that higher body counts would result in more prosperty.

Their beliefs are not that much different from today. We live in a society where many women believe the unplanned babies in their bellies are a hindrance to their own prosperity. Abortion rates are horrific. Far too many women are convinced that the beautiful babies within their wombs are a detriment to their personal advancement. So they kill them. We have a history of killing people for our own advancement in the Americas and in ancient societies.

The American continents were discovered by Europeans who shared their #Catholic beliefs with the locals. Christopher Columbus (1492) was deeply Catholic. He named his three ships after the Blessed Virgin Mary: the Nina, the Pinta, and the Santa Maria. Following his “discovery” in 1492 and the dire need to respond to the Protestant Revolution in Europe, Mother Mary (Our Lady of Guadalupe) intervened in Mexico to convert 9 million Aztecs to Christianity within a decade after her miracles in 1531. If you have not investigated the miracles surrounding the tilma and its survival and blessings, please do so.

We live in a time where Catholics and Protestants get along very well. Thankfully. We greatly benefit by living in a country where we are free to believe in God in the ways we choose to do so. We should thank Protestants for their desire to form a society where citizens aren’t forced into certain Christian denominations – as imposing religion on people has never been warranted.

But many of our founding fathers were also Freemasons (as evidenced on our dollar bills) who didn’t worship the Christian God. They worshipped a neutered, deistic god. In some cases, they worshipped Satan as a god. The 33rd degree of freemasonry is Satanic. So we are in a quandary today.

We live in a pluralistic society where we all understand the need for people to be able to worship themselves as gods – or worship spiritual beings – or the TRUE LORD AND SAVIOR, Jesus Christ.

I was born and raised a Catholic in Catholic schools. I left the Church in the 1990s because I was unhappy with the way the Church was handling abuses within the church. Jesus led me back to Him through Lutheran and Baptist doors. I married my husband of 23 years through the Lutheran Church. I rediscovered God through the Baptist Church. But my pursuit of the truth led to a deep dive into the dogmas of our Blessed Virgin Mother, Mary, and ancient church history. I realized that I was siding with ancient heretics like Helvidius against Mother Mary rather than side with saints who wrote against him, such as Saint Jerome. I had to stop being so prideful in my anti-Catholic views.

I did not want to revert to Catholicism. Catholics require a lot of obedience. Weekly Mass. Yearly confessions. But I had to be honest with Jesus. He has given me so many signs and truths that I could not reject His message. He built His Church on the ROCK OF ST. PETER and the gates of Hell will never prevail against Him (Matthew 16).

Kicking and screaming, I returned to the faith my parents infused into me through schooling as a child: the Catholic Faith. Of all Christian faiths, the Catholic faith is the most demanding. In 2022, I confessed 42 years of sins to a Catholic priest at St. Stephen’s Catholic Church in Riverview, Florida. That unloaded so many demons off my back.

We need to live out our faith, by attending Mass weekly and participating in the Sacraments. If everyone in our country participated in the Catholic Sacraments, we would be living in Heaven. If you found my blog when I was a Protestant and are looking to enhance your beliefs by protesting Catholicism, you’ll probably unsubscribe. But if you’re curious about Jesus and have wondered about the Catholic sacraments, saints, “extra” books of the Bible, and more, please reach out. Let’s chat!
